Model HX & HXN Lock Mandrel
The Model HX and HXN Lock Mandrels are designed to secure subsurface flow control equipment within a well completion tubing. The HX and HXN models offer versatile solutions for well operations, accommodating various configurations and requirements.
The HX Lock Mandrel is tailored for flexibility, allowing for the deployment of multiple selective nipples with identical internal diameters along the tubing string. This design provides operators with an unlimited number of positions to set and secure flow control equipment. The deployment is carried out using a selective running tool on a slickline, enabling a slickline operator to position and, if necessary, reposition the flow control without halting well operations.
The HXN Lock Mandrel, on the other hand, incorporates a no-go shoulder that serves as a reliable landing point for the locking assembly or flow control device. This feature is particularly useful in the deepest nipple locations, providing a robust barrier to prevent tool strings from descending beyond the desired point within the tubing string. The no-go shoulder ensures added safety and precision in well operations, making the HXN Lock Mandrel an essential component in complex well configurations.
The HX & HXN Lock Mandrels are equipped with high-quality non-elastomeric seals for optimal sealing performance in Nipple Profiles that have been used in downhole environments over extended periods. Associated accessories such as Running Tool, Pulling Tool, Equalizing Sub, Running and Pulling Prongs, and Plugs are available for use with Enecal Lock Mandrels.
